BLOOM (From Matt. 6:28)
by Renee Wells
The lovely lilies of the field, the Lord for them provides.
In presence of his sun and wind, they do not run and hide.
They lift their heads in glory, praising God who’s there.
Shining with their beauty, to him they say a prayer.
Let US be like those lilies, lovely in our own way;
Raise our hearts in glory, in thankfulness we pray.
The flowers of the field don’t boast, of fragrance they possess;
They just grow in their own way—the world to see their best.
Let us be like those flowers, to grow and be with love;
To grow our lives like Christ, with grace from God above.
