Donald Cordell Webber

Donald Cordell Webber, 91, of Grove, OK passed away on January 31, 2021 after a battle with Covid-19.
Donald “Don” was born on Sept 4, 1929 to Cordell Webber and Nellie Poplin in Adair, OK. He graduated from Adair High School and attended one year at NEO A & M College. He was drafted into the Army in 1951 and served in the Korean War. He worked at B.F. Goodrich plant in Miami and retired from there in 1986.
He married Patty Jean Woolard on August 21, 1954 and they lived in Miami and raised two daughters until they moved to Grove, OK in 1997. They were married for 58 years until her death in July, 2012. He was involved in girl’s softball for many years. He enjoyed fishing and boating on Grand Lake, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughters, Connie Cox and her husband Roger of Alabama; Cathy Evans and her husband Carl of Grove; one grand-daughter, Melissa Brickey and her husband Charles of Colorado and a great-grandson Ben Brickey; a sister Beatrice Warren of Miami and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Williams Coal Creek Cemetery west of Miami with Pastor Terry Warren officiating.
Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland.
