On Tuesday, May 12th, 2020 Jobe Enkey, a truly amazing young man, husband, son and brother passed away from this life in the comforts of home surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 27 after battling cancer for 3 years.

Dietrich Karic Jobe Enkey was born at W.W. Hastings in Tahlequah, OK on December 4th, 1992 to his mother Mary Elizabeth McClain (Lankford and Father Dietrich Lon Enkey.
Jobe graduated from Wyandotte, Ok in 2012. He then went on to marry his high school sweet heart Courtney Faythe Enkey (Wright) on March 21, 2013. He graduated from the Northeast Technology Center in 2015 where he trained to become a mechanic. He worked at Napa Auto Parts in Miami, OK up until his diagnosis.

Jobe was a passionate man, with many hobbies. In his free time would play video games, put together models, build legos, and loved to talk cars with you as much as he loved to work on them. He was a history buff who enjoyed World War documentaries and movies and absolutely loved Star Wars.

Jobe was an inspiration to many. His smile was contagious. He was such a selfless man; he was compassionate and caring for others. He never put himself first. If you had the pleasure of meeting him you wouldn’t have known he was sick. He fought cancer for 3 years, he faced everyday head on with a smile on his face. He may have had cancer but cancer never had him. He may have passed away, but he beat cancer in every way that you possibly could. He never let his diagnosis hold him back. He inspired so many with his courageous spirit and strength.

Jobe was proceeded in death his mother in law Susan Wright (Martin), and his grandfather in law Charles Martin. He is survived by his wife Courtney Enkey , his mother and step father Mary and Danny McClain, his father and step mother Dietrich and Melina Enkey, his brothers Dylan McCain, Asher Enkey and sisters Kyrie McClain, Eden Enkey, Olive Enkey and Selah Enkey.

The family will receive friends Friday May 15, 2020 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. A private Service will be held. We ask that you pay tribute to Jobe by wearing a Star Wars shirt in his Memory. Services have been placed in the care of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
