Diamond students stay productive while at home

DIAMOND, Mo. – Several schools cancel classes this week due to winter conditions. But in Diamond, Missouri, students continue to stay productive virtually thanks to the district’s efforts and Google Classroom.

So, what do the students do while at home?

For two or three hours each day, they get their academic work done. They also complete an activity from the PE teacher and send back a video of them doing that activity.

Teachers say they’re understanding if a student can’t go online because of technical difficulties.
