COVID-19 can’t stop the Crawford County Fair
GIRARD, Ks. – COVID-19 couldn’t ruain the fun at this years Crawford County Fair, although it did cause some changes.
Attendees were encouraged to social distance while enjoying the food and vendor booths, and the popular bounce house and carnival rides were axed this year.
There were also extra hand washing stations for guests to use.
One attendee says his kids had a blast because there were plenty of cool animals to check out.
“It’s been good. Got to see lots of animals. Rabbits and chickens and my kids like to see the goats and the pigs,” said fair attendee Jeremiah Johnston.
There’s still plenty of time to have some fun at this year’s fair in Girard, Kansas.
It started on Friday and goes through August 3rd.
