Construction work to slow down I-49 traffic near Pineville, MO
MoDOT will be making room for a new southbound lane
MCDONALD COUNTY, Mo. – Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is warning traffic could slow down or stop on I-49 between McDonald County Routes EE & Brush Creek Road near Pineville, Missouri as contractors begin blasting to make room for new southbond lanes on I-49.
MoDOT says the road work will take place 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. from January 18 – January 20. Route EE and Route H traffic attempting to enter southbound I-49 will be stopped for up to 15 minutes while contractor crews blast rock. Traffic attempting to enter northbound I-49 from Business 71 and Brush Creek Road will be stopped for up to 15 minutes while crews blast rock.
