Ailey II

Long Bio: After experiencing segregated life in the South, legendary choreographer Alvin Ailey sought to make dance available to all people. The junior company of his world-renowned Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, Ailey II, fulfills this mission annually through a highly anticipated global tour.

For 45 years, Ailey II has selected 12 gifted students from The Ailey School and developed their skills further through instruction, community outreach, and professional performances. Today, the group combines the spirit and energy of our nation’s best, young dancers with the passion and creative vision of today’s emerging choreographers to create unique and spectacular shows.

Each performance blends fresh, innovative choreography with stunningly disciplined dancers, to make Ailey II the company Dance Magazine calls “second to none.”

Short Bio: Established in 1974, Ailey II is the junior company of the world-renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Today, personalized guidance, rigorous training, and involvement with distinguished choreographers ensure Ailey II performers offer stunning, world-class productions.

David Phelps: It Must Be Christmas 2019 Tour

Long Bio: With a vocal range spanning more than three octaves, David Phelps has led an astounding career beginning when he was just a child. Starting with small performances at his church, Phelps found his passion for performing and was inspired to share his remarkable, natural gift.

Graduating from Baylor University with a degree in vocal performance, Phelps joined the award-winning Gaither Vocal Band. Phelps served as the group’s tenor for more than 15 years, helping secure nine Dove Awards and one Grammy.

In 2017, Phelps left the Gaither Vocal Band to pursue a global, solo career. Today, Phelps remains a worldwide icon for the gospel genre and enjoys an expanding fan-base, while juggling his successful career with home and family.

Long Bio: With a success story sounding like a fairytale, it is fitting Voctave began at Disney World. All 11 members of this popular, a cappella group got their start as Disney’s Voices of Liberty, at Epcot Center. In 2015, the group organized independently to create magical arrangements of classic Disney songs and popular Broadway hits.

By 2016, Voctave’s stunning musical adaptations had earned a well-deserved spot in the limelight. Their arrangements have featured award-winning singers from all genres, including Pentatonix’s Kristin Maldonado. Today, Voctave’s videos have gone viral receiving a staggering 100 million views on YouTube/Facebook. With currently 4-albums, the group continues to create and perform an ever-expanding range of sophisticated a capella music.

Short Bio: Formed in 2015, the a cappella group Voctave came together to make magical arrangements of classic Disney songs and Broadway hits. Today, Voctave’s videos have received millions of views on social media and the group continues to create and perform in an ever-expanding range of musical genres.

The Choir of Man

Long Bio: For the Irish, one crucial element of Irish culture has withstood the test of time: the pub. Inspired by an impromptu jam session in an Irish pub, British producer Nic Doodson was inspired to pay tribute to this iconic, Irish fixture and The Choir of Man was born.

A runaway hit at numerous international music festivals and featured in some of the most prestigious venues in the UK and US, The Choir of Man is quickly becoming a crowd favorite across the globe – and it’s not hard to see why.

This 90-minute, interactive performance features nine ordinary men who sing crowd-pleasing pop hits, rock classics, and traditional pub songs. The harmonious musical numbers combined with foot-stomping choreography and on-stage bar creates an energetic, unforgettable, feel-good show!

Short Bio: The Choir of Man pays tribute to an iconic, cultural fixture in Ireland: the pub. This 90-minute, high-energy, interactive performance combines harmonious musical numbers, foot-stomping choreography, and an on-stage bar for an unforgettable, feel-good performance!
