Computer Science comes to Pittsburg State University
JOPLIN, Mo. – The Kansas Board of Regents approved the addition of a Computer Science program to Pittsburg State University.
Today, PSU officials began monthly meetings for computer programmers called SEK Dev Connect.
“The more we can bring technology professionals and students together in the community, the better,” said John Kuefler, of LimeLight Marketing. “Having professional meet-ups like this is also a very important thing to be doing as we try to draw people who are interested in remote work to Pittsburg.”
The meetings serve to connect students and community members interested in computer science and STEM.
