Community Heroes Music Festival helps support local veterans

NEOSHO, Mo. – TommyHawks Fourstates and Brotherhood of Warriors teamed up for the second annual Community Heroes Music Festival on Saturday.

Brotherhood of Warriors is a non-profit aimed at connecting veterans and their families with resources in the community, offering support and employment opportunities.

Dozens of people showed up for the event, enjoying some fun activities like axe throwing and corn hole against a backdrop of live music.

All proceeds go towards helping veterans in our area.

“I think it’s important to maintain the movement of knowing that our veterans are out there and need help. Sometimes people forget about it, and it kinda gets put on the backburner, but they are an asset and not a liability, so it’s our job to keep that fire going and help them any way we can,” said Brodi Pursley with Brotherhood of Warriors.
