UPDATE:Columbus Police confirm the arrest of the second suspect involved in the Columbus park vandalism.

The suspects were residents of Columbus.

One suspect faces a Criminal Damage to Property charge while the other faces charges of Criminal Damage to Property and Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor.

COLUMBUS, Kan – The Columbus Police Department apprehended one of the suspects that vandalized the Columbus City Park.

They are currently seeking the second suspect are expected to have them apprehended within the next 48 hours.


 

COLUMBUS, Kan – The Columbus Police Department seeks the public’s help identifying graffiti suspects.

Between 10:30 P.M. Monday, July 28th and 6:30 A.M. Tuesday, July 29th, the Columbus City Park was vandalized.

The pavilion, old pool house, tennis courts, basketball courts, bathrooms, a grill, disc golf signs, and a bench were spray painted.
