Cloudy skies prevail today, warmer temps arrive tomorrow -Chris

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you’ve enjoyed the rain we’ve received. If you have, then I have good news as more is on the way.

A stray afternoon shower or storm is still possible, however, most areas will remain dry and cloudy. Highs today will push the mid-upper 70s, with a stray 80° reading here or there possible.

Speaking of rain, take a look at the totals we saw over the area. A good portion of SEK stayed out of the rain, but those who got some, saw upwards of 3-5″ in total. Much needed to help with our drought situation.

As we head into the night, temperatures will drop off into the lower 60s and skies will clear out. Thursday will be warmer and sunnier, with partly cloudy skies and highs heading to the mid to upper 80s.

We’ll remain hot into Friday before our next round of rain moves in this weekend.
