CJ Knights win USSSA Missouri “A” baseball state championship

The 13U team based out of Carl Junction won the state tournament in Oak Grove, MO.

The CJ Knights, a 13U baseball team based out of Carl Junction, won the USSSA Missouri “A” baseball state championship over the weekend in Oak Grove, Missouri.

The Knights actually dropped their pool play opener on Friday, before bouncing back to win three straight to wrap up 1st place. Their 6-4 championship game victory was over the team that beat them in the opening day of the tournament.

In the championship game, CJ was down two going into the 5th inning. Key hits from Kasch Eisenhauer, Logan Vanlanduit, Kaleb Chandler and Kole Wiles helped plate four runs to give them a two-run advantage, which was the difference in the game.
