City of Duquesne, Missouri declares state of emergency

DUQUESNE, Mo. — The city of Duquesne, Missouri has declared a state of emergency for at least 90 days. The declaration was made as part of Ordinance 428 which also designates the mayor as the Chief Personel Officer of all city departments. It also sets certain restrictions within the city including closing certain city offices, buildings and parks, suspending water service shutoffs to Duquesne residents, and multiple changes for city employees.
