Child trafficking protested in Joplin
JOPLIN, Mo. – In 2018, more than half of the criminal human trafficking cases active in the U.S. were sex trafficking cases involving children. That’s according to dosomething.org.
In Joplin on Saturday, protesters lined Fourth and Main Street to do something themselves, calling on city officials to protect those who are most susceptible to human trafficking in the 4-State community.
Later in the day, another protest against child trafficking was also held in Joplin, with protesters marching down Main Street to Joplin City Hall and the courthouse.
