BBQ Competition

Chef Anthony Fischer sits down with Tawnya Bach to talk about the Smokin’ In The Jungle barbecue competition and had some of the prizes on hand, such as a beautiful hand-crafted knife. Judging starts at 2:00 pm on Saturday the 25th. Not only will plenty of great barbecue be on display, but the event serves as a fundraiser to benefit the Pittsburg High School Culinary Dragons and a trip to Italy in 2023. Click here for more information on the competition.

The Chef also came into the studio to prepare a salad with the help of some friends: Aubry Ross, science teacher at Pittsburg High School, and Grayce Chamberlain, a student farmer. As always, the recipe was not only quick and easy to prepare, but fresh and delicious.

Chef Anthony Fischer is a culinary instructor at the Pittsburg High School. Click here for more about PHS.
