Chef Anthony and his students prepare Nana’s apple pie

Chef Anthony Fischer dropped by the KOAM studio with one of his students, Caroline Haake, with a very special recipe for Nana’s apple pie. If you want to experience some delicious homemade apple pie made by Caroline’s Nana, here’s how to make the crust first:
- 1 cup of Crisco
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Half cup of cold water
And all you need for the filling is:
- 4 cups thinly sliced apples
- 1 and a half cups of sugar
- Quarter cup flour
- 3 tablespoons corn starch
- Half tablespoon cinnamon
- Several pats of butter
