(AP) - Missouri lawmakers are considering enacting a ban on discrimination against unvaccinated children.The Missouri bill reviewed Monday in a House committee would prohibit discrimination in daycares, doctors' offices and public schools if children have legal exemptions to immunizations.Missouri grants vaccine exemptions for religious and medical reasons.

US measles tally hits 465, with most illnesses in kids

NEW YORK (AP) - U.S. measles cases are continuing to jump, and most of the reported illnesses are in children.Health officials say 465 measles cases have been reported this year, as of last week. That's up from 387 the week before.The numbers are preliminary. The 2019 tally is already the most since 2014, when 667 were reported. The most before that was 963 cases in 1994.

11 senators sign scathing letter to Juul

Leading e-cigarette company Juul Labs is under the microscope again, with 11 senators demanding answers from the company at the center of the youth vaping "epidemic" whose business practices have been shrouded in "immense secrecy," the senators said in a letter to Juul on Monday.
