CARTHAGE, Mo. – Carthage High School senior Kaden Kralicek announced his commitment to Pittsburg State baseball on Tuesday.

“The coaches have been great to me,” Kralicek says on why he chose PSU, “They gave me space, but they also kept in touch and checked in with me weekly.”

Kralicek has been recruited to play middle infield for the Gorillas.

“I just want to do as much as I can to help the team,” Kralicek adds, “I’ve always been a hard worker. That’s what they want from me, so that’s what I’m going to do.”

After missing out on most of the spring 2020 season due to COVID-19, Kralicek is excited for his chance to keep improving his senior year before he heads to Pittsburg.

“I’m just looking to get bigger and have some fun. It’s nice to be able to relax a little bit and just play baseball,” he says of making his decision, “It was hard to miss out last spring, but I know I better come back hungry this year, because I’m running out of time to play.”
