Carthage scores five in 7th to get by Joplin
The Tigers are now 11-5 overall
JOPLIN, Mo. — The Carthage Tigers beat the Joplin Eagles 7-2 on Tuesday night at Joplin High School.
The game was tied at two going into the 7th inning, but Carthage scored five runs in the top of the frame to put the game away.
With the win, the Tigers are now 11-5 overall this season. They’ll be back in action on Thursday, hosting the Republic Tigers.
Joplin falls to 10-5 overall with the loss.
