Carthage claims first state championship with overtime win against Jackson

WATCH: The Carthage Tigers beat Jackson 27-21 in overtime Saturday night to claim the first state championship in program history.

After getting a stop on defense on Jackson’s first possession in overtime, Patrick Carlton scored a 2-yard touchdown to end the game and give the Tigers a 27-21 victory.
