The CJ boys lost their first round game at the Kaminsky Classic at Joplin High School Thursday night, falling to Francis Howell 59-43.

Southwest Baptist commit Trent Smith was the lone player in double figures for the Bulldogs, scoring 19 points and pulling down 6 rebounds.

Carl Junction will play in the consolation semifinals on Friday afternoon at 4:30 against the loser of Jefferson City/Joplin.
