Car wash forecast – January 14th-16th

An okay Thursday before snow chances sneak back in for the weekend

We’ll be watching a quick cold front for Thursday and a couple of upper-level systems as we get into the weekend. With our first cold front on the way in for Thursday morning, it will have some moisture to bring in a few rain showers before we head into a quiet and cooler afternoon. We gave Thursday a fair rating because the chance for a few showers during the morning hours. Once we get into the afternoon, we’ll be dry with partly sunny skies. If your car needs a bath, the afternoon and evening looks best. For Friday and Saturday, we’ll have to watch snow chances rotate in and out across the region. With a potent upper-level low around the Great Lakes on Friday, we’ll have light snow chances throughout much of the day. For that, Friday isn’t looking like a good day to get your car washed. Saturday morning and afternoon are looking dry before another wave sneaks in for Saturday evening with a few snow showers possible. If you have to wait until Saturday to get your car cleaned up, it’s best to take care of it during the morning and early afternoon.
