Car wash forecast – April 7th-9th

Watching rain chances come and go

The updated car wash forecast shows us dodging some rain chances over the next 3 days. While we did rate Wednesday as a fair, we’ll have to be patient as our cold front rolls on through. During the morning, we’ll be under mostly cloudy skies with chances for rain and t-storms during the morning hours. Once we get into the afternoon, the front will be off to our east to give us a break during the afternoon before wrap-around moisture behind the front tries to bring in a few showers. If you want to try and wash your car on Wednesday, hold off until the afternoon. For Thursday, we’ll have some scattered showers around as the backside of the system continues to lift away. With the best chances in our northern counties during the first part of the day, we’ll see if we can get these rain chances out of here during the afternoon. For Friday, we’re okay during the morning and early afternoon. With another wave on the way that’ll bring in additional t-storm chances late Friday afternoon and into Friday night, we’ll give Friday a fair rating with the recommendation to take care of any washing early in the day and early in the afternoon.
