Car leaves MO-66 and overturns multiple times near Joplin, Mo.
Missouri State Highway Patrol Tpr S. Glass tells us, the car traveled off the right side of the road, then into the ditch, overturning at least two times
JASPER COUNTY, Mo. – Shortly before 5 p.m. reports of a single vehicle crash on West 7th just west of Central City Road alerted Jasper County E911.
Carl Junction Fire, METS ambulance and Jasper County Sheriff’s Deputies responded. Missouri State Highway Patrol were notified.
On the scene the crash was located near West 7th and Cottonwood Lane, which is a dead end parallel road to West 7th. A small red passenger car had overturned numerous times, coming to rest in the north ditch.
Tpr S. Glass tells us it was a single vehicle crash with two occupants of the vehicle. The male driver refused medical treatment. The female passenger was alert and talking, transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The car traveled off the right side of the road, then into the ditch, overturning at least two times Tpr Glass estimated as he was still completing his preliminary crash investigation.
Rosenberg Towing removed the vehicle and debris from the crash scene.
