Police arrest 1 person in Casey’s armed robbery

Caney Police are on the lookout for a robbery suspect

CANEY VALLEY, Kan. – Authorities arrest a suspect in Sunday night’s robbery at Casey’s General Store in Caney.

The Caney Police Department says a person went into the store around 12:25 a.m. on August 30, 2020 and robbed it at gunpoint. Police say the suspect was wearing an army green jacket, blue jeans, and flip flops and was around 6 feet 2 inches tall and 150 pounds.

Today, August 31, the police department and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrested one person in connection to the robbery. They are still investigating and expect at least one more arrest.
