Local businesses help to raise funds for the Wildcat Glades Conservation and Audubon Center. Instant karma donates ten percent of its sales today to help clean up after acts of vandalism at the nature center. Several bird houses on strong metal poles and trail signs have been taken down, damaged, and even stolen. At the entrance, a large stone was toppled over. The restaurant owners are frequent th trails and decided to help. Tara Danner of the Wildcat Glades Conservation and Audubon Center says, “We actually just ran across the instant karma post on their Facebook page and we’re very very appreciative of their support, nothing is better than a community that comes together and supports you, we have not made any, we haven’t had any attempt to reach out especially with the holidays its so busy right now, they’re actually the ones that took this on themselves and we really appreciate it. Officials with the Audubon Center say it’s still safe to be on the trails but ask if visitors see anything suspicious to tell staff or police.
