Bus parade: a tradition in Carl Junction is changed up a bit this year

CARL JUNCTION, Mo. – It’s a tradition that goes back decades.

Normally, on the last day of school, children get on their bus and all the teachers come out and wave to students as the buses take them home.

But this year, because the COVID-19 pandemic has school buildings closed, buses ran their routes with teachers and staff on board, with the children out in front of their homes waving as the buses drove by.
