Brandy Jackson

Brandy Jackson, age 43, of Joplin entered the gates of Heaven on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin.

Brandy was born on October 11th, 1978 in Oceanside, CA to Kathy (Fullen) Bresee and the late Mark Artigo Sr. She grew up with a large family and many friends during her childhood and adolescence in California. After graduating Riverbank high school, she moved to Joplin to be closer to relatives. She then started her family and worked for 15 years with Integris Hospital in Miami, OK. She was united in marriage to Brandon Jackson in February of 2012 in Joplin. Brandy courageously and passionately made the decision to go back to school in her adult years while being a full-time mother, wife, avid church attendant, and breast cancer warrior. She graduated Missouri Southern State University with her bachelor’s degree in social work and then obtained her master’s degree in social work from Missouri State University. She then worked with Ozark Center in Joplin, impacting lives by providing counseling services.

Brandy was full of joy, positivity, and encouragement through every mountain and valley in life. She found the good in all things and never ceased to help people. Her life was a ministry that exemplified a bold and faithful love beyond herself. She lived the truth that she wanted all people to know- repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name, and infilling of the Holy Ghost. A faithful member of New Day United Pentecostal Church, she gave herself to be used by God in various capacities including singing with the praise and worship team, teaching young adult Sunday school classes, and being a prayer warrior and alter worker. She always had a smile and a testimony to share. Brandy was truly sweet, loving, and full of life. There was never a dull moment or uncaptured picture with her around. The values and principles she lived will leave a permanent impression in the hearts of all she touched. Her service on earth is complete, and she now experiences her victory and reward of eternal life.
