BOURBON COUNTY, Kan. – The Bourbon County Sheriff’s Office has started doing grocery deliveries for seniors, people with disabilities and veterans.

It’s so that those people don’t have to go to the store if they can’t or don’t want to.

Residents just have to call the sheriff’s office, then a deputy will come to your house to get a grocery list and money. After that, they will bring the groceries right back to your home.

The sheriff’s office is also encouraging residents to donate money or non-perishable food items to help make it a success.

They hope to help relieve some of the anxiety that residents may be feeling about the coronavirus.
