Boredom Buster: At-home Lunar Lander
Will Morris from the K-State Extension Office joins Jesse via video call to show off an out of this world activity perfect to keep your kids occupied while at home.
All you’ll need is a styrofoam/plastic cup, tape, straws/pipe cleaners, and cardstock for your lunar lander. You’ll need pingpong balls or a marshmallow for your astronaut.
After your lunar lander is assembled, the goal of the game is to get the lunar lander to land as safely as possible from various heights without having your astronaut fall out and hit the ground.
You can find more activities for you and your kids to do at home by visiting the K-State Extension Office’s new Suddenly in Charge page.
