Bluegrass bash wraps in Carl Junction
CARL JUNCTION, Mo. — Sunday marked the final day of the 22nd Annual Carl Junction Bluegrass Festival.
On Sunday afternoon, folks were treated to an hour of live bluegrass music at Center Creek Park.
The event kicked off Friday night and featured food trucks, plenty of music, and several fun activities for families. Officials say it’s a group effort to pull it off each year.
“You know, it takes not only the chamber and our board, but it takes all of the volunteers and the bands and the food trucks and the vendors and the people that come out, the guests, to make this happen,” said Ashley Butcher, executive director of the Carl Junction Area Chamber of Commerce.
Butcher also says while the exact number of people in attendance isn’t known, the parking lots and nearby fields were full the entire weekend.
