Blue Feather Wellness practices new normal

The wellness spa will operate by appointment only indefinitely

JOPLIN, Mo. – Spas are beginning to open their doors for business. That includes Blue Feather Wellness in Joplin.

Blue Feather Wellness is now operating by appointment only. They say that helps with social distancing and limits the number of people going in and out. Owner Christa Tullis says appointments will be the new normal from here on out.

“That’s going to be an indefinite thing — to run by appointment instead of just having people stop in. And we’ve always been very diligent with cleaning, so we’ll keep up those protocols as well. But we’ll be hitting the front door more. I think the changes that we’ve made have been positive. And we plan to keep it that way,” adds Tullis.

They offer a number of different services such as message therapy, mediation, saunas, and a flotation tank. Blue Feather Wellness body workers will not be taking appointments until the end of the month.
