Baxter Spring High School transitions to remote learning

BAXTER SPRINGS, Kan. – The Baxter Springs School District makes some changes due to the number of positive COVID-19 cases and the number of close contact quarantines.

Starting today, September 10, 2020, the Baxter Springs High School shifts to at home remote learning for all students in grades 9 through 12. The District expects in-class learning for high school students to resume normally on Monday, September 21. School officials have also cancelled extracurricular activities for grades 9 through 12.

During remote learning, High School students will be zooming with staff through links that will be posted in Canvas.

School will remain in session as normal for students in grades 8 and lower. Lincoln, Central and Middle School will remain in session as normal.
