Joplin community members sell cookies and Easter goodies to raise money for 11-year-old Easton Murdock who has had two brain surgeries, chemo, and radiation to keep his brain stem and cervical spine tumor in check.

Donning “I Wear Gray for Easton” t-shirts, friends and family volunteered. This is the third year for the sale.

Murdock’s mother Megan Guodace says her son’s perseverance inspires her every day.

“I think it just goes to show that no matter what, you know, you’re fighting in your life it just kinda puts a new perspective on things, you know. He’s taught us what the true meaning of living life to the fullest is.”

If you’d like to donate to the family, they have a benefit account under Easton Murdock at South West Missouri Bank.
