ARMA, Kan, – Baby Miss America Pageant contestant shows her support for law enforcement with homemade cookies.

Part of competing in the pageant involves community service and this year’s theme is ‘Back the Blue’.

Kansas representative and five-year-old Sophia Rake-Straw spent her day visiting with law enforcement officers and delivering cookies.

Sophia’s mother stated:

“I think if you ask the officers it’s been a pretty positive impact. This is our first time doing it so far with the Baby Miss America Pageant. They want the little girls in the pageant to bring  awareness to LEO because it’s not happening anywhere right now.”

Officials chose Sophia out of 750 contestants to represent Kansas for this year’s pageant.
