As the spread of COVID-19 comes to a slow, local schools are continuing their field trip experiences

CARTHAGE, Mo. – Students in Carthage, are heading out into their community for field trips for the first time in the last two years.

According to Superintendent Mark Baker:

“Covid canceled many school activities, one of them being student field trips. Kids really missed getting out into the community and going places to learn.”

Some Carthage students took a tour of the city as part of their field trip this semester.

Officials say they plan to resume the scheduling of field trips for Carthage students for the 2022/2023 school year.
