Another hot one for us today, but rain is on the way -Chris

Good morning everyone, I hope you had an excellent, relaxing weekend! I know it was a hot one and unfortunately, it’s going to remain hot through today and tomorrow.

Afternoon highs today will reach the lower 100s for most of us with an isolated t-storm chance later this evening. Most of us will remain dry, with a light east breeze.

As we head into tonight, a few more isolated t-storms are possible, mostly on the Missouri side. Temps will drop back into the upper 60s overnight and the wind switches out of the southeast at 5-10 with gusts upwards of 20mph.

Tomorrow, it’ll heat up once again with highs pushing 100°. By late afternoon/early evening, our weather maker settles in and brings us more widespread rain and thunderstorm chances with nearly everyone getting in on the rain activity.

It warms up again following that before more rain chances move in by the weekend.
