Ample opportunity for yard work this week
While we watch a system by Thursday
If you took the weekend off from any yard work and want to attack it over the next four days, let us break down which days will work best for you. Monday will start mild and end with highs back around 90° for the afternoon. The heat and humidity could spark a few isolated t-storms, but most spots should stay dry. We’ll give Monday a fair rating. Tuesday will be a similar story in temperatures, but we’re looking at maybe a stray t-storm for the afternoon with the vast majority of the area staying dry. That leads us to rating Tuesday as a good. Wednesday will be back down to a fair as we’re expecting a slight uptick in the t-storm chances for the afternoon. Thursday will be when a system will ride around the upper-level ridge. That wants to send in a complex of t-storms our way at some point during the day. With some spots seeing some dry time for Thursday morning and Thursday evening, we’ll put Thursday at a fair. However, we need to watch the setup and adjust if we see these t-storms increase in coverage or stick around throughout much of the day.
