They got to the scene and found a house fully on fire. According to Lt. Jason Baird with the Neosho Police Department, it looked like the fire was upstairs and quickly spreading to the rest of the house.

The Fire Department got on scene and quickly put the fire out with the help of Seneca Fire District.

Lt. Baird says the house had previously been abandoned and didn’t have utilities attached. Because of this, the Missouri State fire Marshall’s office and Neosho Police Department are investigating it as arson.
