A brunch to benefit 4-State Women
PITTSBURG, Ks. — The Women Helping Women group in Pittsburg held their first ever fundraising brunch on Sunday.
The organization has been active in the community for the past five years. Women Helping Women raises money to help out 4-State women in tough situations, including car repairs, finding jobs, and even homelessness.
“This event, and other events that we’ll be having throughout the year like our Holiday Homes Tour, and our pop-up shop, are all just to bring money in, bring awareness to the organization, and help these women keep their families together, not become homeless,” said Laura Washburn with Women Helping Women.
The partner agencies assisted by Women Helping Women incldue Wesley House and the Pittsburg safe house.
