2 Quapaw schools move to virtual learning due to COVID-19 case

QUAPAW, Okla. – Officials dismiss two Quapaw, Oklahoma schools early today, after the district was notified of a positive COVID-19 case at the High School.

All High School and Middle School students will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m. this afternoon, September 2, 2020. Those students will go to virtual instruction until September 15. They will then go back to the classroom on September 16.

The School District says activities will be cancelled during this time period.

Elementary School students in Quapaw will be dismissed at their regular time today and will continue to have regular classes on campus during this time. Quapaw Public Schools posted, “If your child shows any COVID symptoms please contact your primary care doctor. Further information will be forthcoming.”
